# Miscellaneous

### Overview

Miscellaneous items cover custom gear that does not fit normal categories.

That includes catalysts, offhand support items, passive utility pieces, and special-use tools.

Some boost combat.

Others help with fishing, farming, foraging, mining, excavation, movement, survival, or magic.

### Miscellaneous item types

| Type          | What it does                                                  |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Catalysts     | Special items that improve magic, combat, or utility effects. |
| Offhand Items | Items held in your offhand for passive bonuses.               |
| Bait          | Fishing support items held while fishing.                     |
| Fertiliser    | Farming support items held while farming.                     |
| Nutrients     | Foraging support items held while foraging.                   |
| Relic Dust    | Excavation support items held while excavating.               |
| Trinkets      | Mining support items held while mining.                       |
| Utility Items | Special movement, survival, crafting, or combat items.        |

### Catalysts and magic items

Catalysts usually support magic builds, ability builds, or utility setups.

Some give passive stats.

Others trigger active abilities on right click or when you take damage.

| Magical Catalyst        | Increases magic damage for early magic builds.                                    |
| Quickcaster's Catalyst  | Adds magic damage, cooldown reduction, skill damage, mana, and mana regeneration. |
| Power Crystal           | Uses Magical Path and gives strong magical protection while held.                 |
| Enchanted Shulker Shell | Uses Shulker Missile on right click.                                              |
| Perfect Ender Pearl     | Uses Blink on right click.                                                        |
| Telekinetic Hand        | Black-market magic item with high magic damage.                                   |
| Abyssal Grasp           | Pulls nearby enemies toward your target, then slows and damages them.             |
| Void Morpher            | A strange void device that shrinks your form.                                     |
| Echofocus Talisman      | When hit, uses Light Dash to send you forward and damage nearby enemies.          |
| Tempest Nexus           | Uses Leap to launch you upward.                                                   |

### Combat and survival items

These items focus on damage, defense, protection, or emergency survival.

| Lucky Charm        | Increases critical strike chance.                                         |
| Warrior Amulet     | Gives damage reduction.                                                   |

| Luck Charm         | Gives Luck, extra enchanting XP, and extra experience while held.         |

| Angelic Totem      | When hit, triggers Celestial Evade to dash away and heal.                 |
| Glowing Quiver     | On arrow hit, blinds the target for a short time.                         |
| Knight's Bane      | Late-game combat item focused on crit power and undead damage.            |
| Soul Flame Lantern | Gives fire resistance, health, mana, undead damage, and magic protection. |

### Fishing bait

Bait is held in your offhand while fishing.

It improves stats like Fishing Fortune, Fishing Luck, and Fishing Experience.
