# Intro & Guide

### Getting Started

<figure><img src="/files/QrGDImXKbhM0H2OwG1FE" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When you first spawn into the server, you'll see a few new things you've probably never seen before. Such as a **Mana** Bar and **Health** Bar. Mana is used for casting abilities from [items](/orange-smp-wiki/custom-items.md), [weapons ](/orange-smp-wiki/custom-items/weapons.md)[armor ](/orange-smp-wiki/custom-items/armor.md)or [skills](/orange-smp-wiki/skills.md).&#x20;

Your health is not as it seems. You can increase you health up to an infinite number of hearts, so yes, running around with 1000 hearts IS POSSIBLE!

You'll want to run around [spawn ](/orange-smp-wiki/spawn.md)and explore the various [npc's ](/orange-smp-wiki/spawn/npcs.md)and other areas we have to explore.

You'll also want to claim your [Daily Crate Key](/orange-smp-wiki/spawn/useful-locations.md) and Starter Bundle. After Doing so use the [teleport menu NPC](/orange-smp-wiki/spawn/npcs.md) or [/rtp](/orange-smp-wiki/commands.md) to leave spawn and beging grinding.

Before gathering item's its worth noting down that most block's and mobs drop custom items which are used in crafts or forges, however some items may require essence which can be obtained from [dungeons ](/orange-smp-wiki/dungeons.md)or fishing.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://orange-lounge-smp.gitbook.io/orange-smp-wiki/intro-and-guide.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
